Recently AUMENDO Polacek, Klostermann & Partners analyzed various activities in firms that serve to reduce complexity. A number of internal (e.g. acquisitions, reorganizations) and external factors such as parental controls and legislation contribute to an increase in complexity. Increasing complexity causes higher costs, increased frequency of errors and lack of transparency. The objective, therefore, was to detect complexity drivers to determine and implement appropriate measures to control complexity. AUMENDO is currently leading a study entitled: "Health, Safety and Environment (HSE) landscape and the impact of IT".
